Greetings Everyone!
We are taking a journey to the Great Northwest, with its snow capped mountains, inviting vineyards, and the Spruce Goose for the upcoming Fall meeting in Portland ,OR., Oct. 5th - 8th, 2011. Our host will be Cascade Steel, McMinnville, OR. yours truly, Chuck Berrier, will be our host Member. We will be staying at the beautiful DoubleTree Hotel, Portland.
We will continue our focus on Safety and make this the first item of discussion at all of our technical and committee meetings. We had another good turn out for our operators round table meeting in Indianapolis, and I believe everyone who was in attendance took away something positive and valuable from that discussion.
It was good to see everyone in Indianapolis and our attendance has continued to grow. It’s hard to believe that my tenure as your President is coming to and end. It has been an enjoyable and rewarding two years. I want to thank my fellow officers for providing me the support needed to make these meetings a great success. With your help we will continue to improve and strengthen our organization.
